The expertise behind the glossary

Mustafa Kaya, who founded Doğadayız in 2012, has been an internationally certified rafting guide since 2010. According to the IRF's public register, as of October 2026 he is one of 3 people in Türkiye holding the Level 4 Raft Trip Leader certificate and one of 2 IRF raft instructors registered from Türkiye. The other instructor is Mehmet Vedat Vural, Türkiye's fully qualified IRF raft instructor; in 2025 the two ran a guide training course together in Of, Trabzon.
