Bansko Snowboard & Ski Holiday

Guests buying the 2027 winter season Bansko programme who hold a burgundy (ordinary) Turkish passport and wish to apply for a Schengen visa from Istanbul can use our consultancy service if they wish. The consultancy service is available for the Istanbul location only. Applications are made via VFS Global through an intermediary consultancy company. 

Included in the fee: Schengen application fee, the service fee payable to the company (VFS Global), the agency consultancy fee and travel health insurance.

The consulate may change the visa consultancy fee and application dates.

Guests who would like to use the consultancy service should contact us with their request. We will then get in touch via their contact numbers.

If you want to apply for a visa from a city other than Istanbul, you need to complete the Schengen visa process individually. During this process we will provide you with the necessary documents such as accommodation, transport and travel health insurance.

To avoid leaving visa procedures to the last minute, we recommend that burgundy passport holders book in time for the November visa round at the latest and join the November appointments at the latest. Later on there is a risk that the consulate may not open new appointments or that the visa process may not be completed in time.

It is not possible to change the visa appointment date and time given by the consulate or to arrange a day/time on request. 

You must attend the appointment on the given date and have your documents prepared completely and correctly.

IMPORTANT: For those applying through the consultancy service, whether the application is approved or refused is entirely at the discretion of the Bulgarian consulate. The consultancy service does not guarantee visa approval.

Participants of the 3 Nights 5 Days Bansko Snowboard & Ski Tour stay at the 4-star mountain hotel Perun Lodge Hotel.

Participants coming with a spouse / partner:
in double rooms,

Participants coming with a group of friends:
in double or triple rooms, according to the number of people given at booking,

Participants travelling alone:
share a double room with another solo participant of the same gender.

For guests requesting a triple room, the 3rd bed is a foldaway extra bed.

- Our tour includes round-trip bus transport between Istanbul and Bansko Ski Resort.

- Departure point for our programme from Istanbul: in front of the Kadıköy Marriage Office

Departure times will be shared with you before the programme.

Please be at the meeting point 30 minutes before departure.

The departure time may vary due to city traffic and congestion at the border crossing.

Every week, 30-40% of our participants come alone. Participants who come alone are accommodated with other solo participants of the same gender in rooms for 2 or 3 people depending on hotel availability.

At the heart of our activity holiday programmes, alongside personal development and gaining experience, is the aim of helping you make new friends and socialise through nightlife. Participants who come alone can also plan their holiday with peace of mind and enjoy the atmosphere to the full.

Photo and video shooting is not included in our tour programme.

Snow trousers, snow jacket, gloves, helmet and goggles can be rented daily from the ski room. Up-to-date information will be added once the daily rental prices are confirmed.

AGE LIMIT

• Participants aged 12-55 can join.
• Persons aged 12-18 can only join with the permission / accompaniment of their legal parent. Pricing for the 12-18 age group is the same as the adult price.

SKILL

• To join the programme you must already be able to snowboard or ski.

HEALTH

• Persons without loss of limbs or senses, who can carry out everyday activities and have no health problems that could endanger the course of the organisation, their own safety or the safety of their teammates, can participate.

- As Bulgaria is part of the European Union Schengen area, only Turkish citizens holding green (special) passports or diplomatic passports can enter the country without a visa.

- Everyone else must apply for a visa through the Bulgarian Consulate. You can apply individually through visa service providers in your region (VFS Global) or through an intermediary consultancy firm. Details can be found in the FAQ under "Information about the Visa Consultancy Service".

- For those applying for a visa appointment via VFS Global (the tour must have been purchased and paid for on our website), Doğadayız will send, 4 days before the visa appointment, a document confirming the reservation made at Perun Lodge Hotel in the person's name, together with a stamped company letter on letterhead confirming the bus transport booking. You will need to use these documents in your visa application.

- If nothing is missing from the documents requested from the applicant and nothing prevents the visa, tourist visas usually pose no problem. However, the visa decision is entirely up to the consulate; if your visa is refused, you can get a 100% refund of the amount paid for your booking. For the refund, you need to share the official visa refusal letter with us.

- Accommodation is at the 4-star mountain hotel Perun Lodge Hotel in Bansko Ski Resort.

- The accommodation concept is bed & breakfast. Only breakfast is included in the programme; lunch and dinner are not included.

1. Payment with Deposit
   You can lock in the price by paying a deposit of €250 per person. The deposit is charged in TL at the exchange rate of the day you pay.
   The remaining balance is paid in cash in EUR at the hotel. Guests who prefer not to pay cash in EUR will be sent a card payment link; this payment is charged in TL at the exchange rate of the day of payment.
2. Credit Card Payment
   You can book securely on our website with credit cards from all banks.
   With the 3D Secure payment system, you complete your payment with a one-time password sent to the mobile number registered with your bank.
3. Bank Transfer (EFT / Wire)
   For our bank accounts click here.
   You must complete your bank transfer within 6 hours of creating your booking. Bookings not paid within 6 hours are cancelled automatically.

If your plans change up to 30 days before the tour start date:

- You can cancel and receive a 100% refund.
- You can change your date at the early booking prices valid on your purchase date.
- You can transfer your booking to someone else.
- You can keep the amount paid as credit and use it on any package within 1 year.

If your plans change and there are fewer than 30 days left before the tour start date:

- The amount paid is put on hold and can be used within 1 year of the booking date (for the next Bansko Tour or other winter or summer programmes). Balances on hold are non-refundable.

If you share the official refusal letter showing that you could not obtain a visa, you can receive a 100% refund regardless of the cancellation date.

In case of documented force majeure (e.g. health problems with a medical report):

- The amount paid is put on hold and you get the right to change dates, to be used within 1 year of the booking date (for the next Bansko Tour or a different Doğadayız programme within the same year). Balances on hold are non-refundable.

These rights can be used only once.
