Reading the map

Uludağ’s map is read by its two development zones; each lift usually starts in front of a hotel and bears the hotel’s name:

  • 1st Development Zone (Hotels Area): The cable car’s Oteller station (Kurbağakaya, ~1,810 m) is here. The Fahri, Beceren, Yazıcı, Cennetkaya, Karkay, Alkoçlar, Belvü and İtalyan lifts; the Tutyeli 4-seater chairlift takes you up to the zone’s longest black runs (Tutyeli main run, FIS run). The beginner slopes and Tavşan Yolu are in this zone.
  • 2nd Development Zone: The zone of the newer hotels; the Kuşaklıkaya (1,529 m) and Maden (1,922 m) 4-seater chairlifts offer the longest descents. The short drag lifts in front of the hotels (Mandra, Karinna, Monte Baia, Kırkgözler) and the baby lift are here.
  • Run codes: P1–P26 are the main runs; codes with letters (P2a, P10b…) are link paths. Colours: green easiest, blue easy, red intermediate, black difficult.

Doğadayız social adventure holiday

The easiest way to learn to ski: a winter activity holiday

An activity holiday puts a sport at the heart of your trip: transport, accommodation and meals are planned, so you can focus on learning on the slopes. On Doğadayız winter activity holidays, accommodation, ski pass and ski or snowboard equipment are included in every package; course packages include basic lessons with instructors affiliated with the Turkish Ski Federation, while experience packages let you practise on the slopes at your own level.

What makes the programme different is the group: sharing the slopes with people at a similar level, dinners and nights out together, and a group leader by your side at all times. Solo travellers become part of this social adventure holiday from day one. That is why we describe our programmes as a social adventure holiday.

Doğadayız programmes run at these resorts: Erciyes, Sarıkamış, Bansko.
